Philly’s home sits surrounded by native bush-clad bluffs, towering over the Anatoki River in Golden Bay. Her work is inspired by this dramatic environment, with the river being a particularly strong influence.

Philly owns and operates MONZA Gallery in Takaka, Golden Bay. This charming building holds a collection of fine work by local artists, jewellers, weavers, potters and sculptors. Amongst the delightful array, you will find many examples of Philly's art.

Philly has been painting professionally for ten years. Largely self-taught from an early age, she has also attended art courses both locally and overseas.

Living in Golden Bay amongst many talented and creative people is also a wonderful source of inspiration.
