Robert Perry lives in beautiful Golden Bay, at the top of New Zealand’s South Island, where he enjoys a natural lifestyle with his partner and child.

This area is famous for its National Parks, and also for its inspired craft artists.

Rob comes from a background of Horticultural Science, Viticulture and Winemaking. He applies the same exacting standards to his unique artworks and domestic kitchenware.

A good example of the exactness of Rob’s work is the piece pictured opposite. The average wall thickness of this piece is only 4 mm.

To hollow it out, Rob had to work through the 40 mm neck, with tools he had specially created for the job.

Rob is a committed and responsible user of native woods from sustainable and recycled resources.

He is fast becoming an acclaimed craft artist in his specialised field.
