Pohara Beach
Just across the road from Pohara Sands is one of Golden Bay's best beaches for swimming and strolling along. Feel free to use our bicycles and explore further afield. There are easy, fairly flat rides to a variety of nice places, whichever direction you decide to go.

Abel Tasman National Park
The internationally-renowned Abel Tasman Coast Track is a fairly easy 3 to 4 day walk. You can also access a lot of the park by doing day walks and/or by water taxi.

Wainui Falls
An easy and beautiful short bush walk on
the way to the Abel Tasman National Park.

Wharariki Beach & Farewell Spit
A day trip to a wild and magnificent beach
right at the northernmost tip of New Zealand's South Island. While you're out that way, have a look at the famous Farewell Spit - a bird sanctuary and wetland of international importance -
