Kim refers to this series of mirrors as her "Magpie Series" - a title which came about as a result of her December 2003 exhibition at the Belltower Gallery in Golden Bay.

Kim Anderson has a background in mosaics and leadlighting. She has worked with broken crockery, harakeke (flax), glass, natural and found materials and always with mirrors.
