Chris Condell is a Bonecarver and Musician, who has lived in Golden Bay for eleven years. He lists among his influences "Celtic and indigenous New Zealand forms - especially marine."

Chris applies his background as a Boatbuilder and Engineer to combine aesthetic appeal with other considerations like strength and durability.

"I'm always re-inventing my designs. Grappling with the multitude of available ideas and influences to distill an original stylistic approach."
